Family Program: Explore Dulcimer

Museum visitors can try their hand at the mountain dulcimer, a time-honored American instrument. First documented in the early 1800s, the mountain dulcimer has played an important role in the history of country music — and is one of the easiest instruments to learn. Musician and educator Helena Hallberg will guide participants in this informal, hands-on experience. (All ages)
