The 2026 Annual Cultivating Courage Gala is Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation (BKVF) a black-tie fundraising event, bringing together community leaders, corporate partners, veterans, and supporters for an elegant evening of inspiration, recognition, and giving on September 12th 2026 at City Winery Nashville.

Tickets start at $315 a person and with VIP packages available. Doors open at 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy a reception, dinner, raffles, silent auctions, live music, and heartfelt tributes honoring veterans who have demonstrated extraordinary courage in their journey toward healing and hope.

BKVF is founded in 2020 by Chris Cathers — a decorated Special Forces and CIA veteran who battled PTS and cancer before dedicating his life to veteran mental health — BKVF exists to raise awareness of and destigmatize military-based mental health issues by connecting veterans to personalized, barrier-free care for as long as they need it. Chris passed away earlier this year, and this concert is our community's most heartfelt tribute to the man who started it all and the mission he gave everything to build.

Every dollar raised at the Gala directly funds BKVF's barrier-free veteran mental health programs and carries forward the courageous legacy of our founder, Chris Cathers. Join us as we honor a legacy, uplift our heroes, and cultivate courage… together. Because behind every program… is a life, a family, a story that could be lost... or saved.
