Songwriter Session: Stephanie Quayle and Anna Vaus
Singer-songwriters and recording artists Stephanie Quayle and Anna Vaus are both members of CMT’s Next Women of Country, Class of 2019. This year, Quayle has released several singles, including "By Heart" and "We Buy Gold," co-written with Vaus. Other popular singles include "Whatcha Drinkin’ ’Bout," from her 2019 EP If I Was a Cowboy, and "Selfish," from her 2017 debut album Love the Way You See Me. In 2021, Anna Vaus released her sophomore EP Wild Honey, co-produced by Grammy-winning songwriter Luke Laird, featuring the single "Girl in a Bar." Her songs have also been recorded by Carolina Story, Carly Pearce and Jasmine Rae. Vaus has opened for Hunter Hayes, Willie Nelson, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi and Lee Ann Womack.
