Shy Carter
Singer-songwriter and producer Shy Carter wrote and released his own single, “Good Love,” earlier this year. Carter also wrote “Heaven” and “Good as You” (Kane Brown), “God Whispered Your Name” (Keith Urban), “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” (Billy Currington), “Speak to a Girl” (Faith Hill and Tim McGraw), and “Stuck Like Glue” (Sugarland). He wrote the #1 pop songs “One Call Away” (Charlie Puth) and “Someday” (Rob Thomas). Jason Derulo, Chris Janson, TobyMac, and Meghan Trainor have also recorded Carter’s songs.
Tune in to Instagram Live every Tuesday at 8:00 PM CDT for songs and stories from hit songwriters. This program is a spinoff of the museum’s popular Saturday Songwriter Session, a live performance offered weekly in the museum’s Ford Theater. The museum brings this program to your home online through Instagram Live.
Presented by SunTrust with support from Metro Nashville Arts Commission and Tennessee Arts Commission.
