Singer-songwriter Pam Tillis wrote her hits “Blue Rose Is,” “Cleopatra, Queen of Denial,” “It’s Lonely Out There,” “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life),” “One of Those Things,” “Put Yourself in My Place,” and “Spilled Perfume.”
She also has written songs recorded by Gloria Gaynor, Highway 101, Chaka Khan, Juice Newton, Dan Seals, and Conway Twitty. Tillis co-wrote six songs on her latest album, Looking for a Feeling, released earlier this year. She has won CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and is the daughter of Country Music Hall of Fame member Mel Tillis.
