Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Presents Songwriter Session: Luke Dick
The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum holds weekly Songwriter Sessions streamed on the museum’s website. Viewers hear from the talents behind country music’s biggest hits. Following the program, fans can join us on Instagram for a live Q&A session with that week’s guest songwriter.
Luke Dick wrote “Burning Man” (Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne), “Kill a Word” and “Round Here Buzz” (Eric Church), “Bluebird” and “Settling Down” (Miranda Lambert) and songs recorded by Eli Young Band, the Highwomen, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, and Jerrod Niemann. Dick recently released Red Dog, a documentary about his mother and his unconventional childhood, for which he crafted an album of original songs, including the single “Polyester,” featuring Lambert. Not one to be pigeonholed, Dick also releases music with his new wave rock band, Hey Steve.
Tune in at www.countrymusichalloffame.org/live. Following the Songwriter Session performance, Luke Dick will join Instagram Live to answer questions submitted by viewers. Instagram Live @officialcmhof.
