Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, who collaborated with Kacey Musgraves to write and produce both her CMA-, ACM- and Grammy-winning album Golden Hour and her latest release, star-crossed, will perform and answer audience questions during this program. They are joined on steel guitar by Scotty Murray.
Tashian wrote Josh Turner’s "Hometown Girl," as well as songs recorded by Brothers Osborne, Brett Eldredge, Martina McBride, Chris Lane, Lady A, Little Big Town, Tenille Townes and Lee Ann Womack. His work has been featured in the television shows "Breaking Bad," "Pretty Little Liars" and "Nashville," and his album Blue Umbrella, a collaboration with Burt Bacharach, was nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. Fitchuk, a 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards Producer of the Year nominee, has written, produced and collaborated with a diverse group of artists, including James Bay, Brothers Osborne, Cam, Amy Grant, Drew Holcomb, Sean McConnell, Maren Morris, Kesha, Shawn Mendes, Buddy Miller, Shania Twain and Jacob Whitesides. Fitchuk’s songs have also been featured in commercials and television shows, including "Nashville." Presented in support of the exhibit Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors, on view until May 31, 2022.
