“Celebrate Community Through Craft Beer” is bringing together Tennessee Brew Works and one of our country’s black-owned breweries, Turner Haus Brewing from Chicago, to celebrate Black History Month.
The pair created a collaboration IPA that honors Olympic legend, Tennessee native and Tennessee State University graduate, Wilma “The Gazelle” Rudolph, and will host a virtual event that includes a round table discussion with Black spirits business leaders, including Steve Turner of Turner Haus Brewery, Stacey Thomas of Stacey Wines, and Jason Ridgel from Guidance Whiskey.
The virtual event is on Saturday, February 27, and includes a curated box that includes the new Gazelle IPA, a pizza from Nashville’s Slim & Husky’s, some local swag, live jazz sets from Tennessee Brew Works, and the panel/fireside chat hosted by Eric Holt, event moderator and managing partner at Lovenoise.
