Join the Nashville Public Education Foundation (NPEF) at Belmont University’s Johnson Theater for a screening of "By Design: The Shaping of Nashville’s Public Schools". The hour-long documentary has been produced by NPEF in collaboration with education experts, leading historians, community and state leaders, and students from defining moments in Nashville’s public school history. The film examines historical moments of public schooling in Nashville dating to the 1800s and the effects of city policies and community priorities on schools.
