Burgers & Dogs: A (Socially Distanced) Backyard Concert Series

Nashville-based veteran booking agent Jordan Burger is hosting a socially distanced concert series beginning Friday, August 21 through early November in his amphitheater-style backyard in Franklin, TN.
With marked spaces for 20 blankets/towels, separated 6-feet apart and sold per couple, plus four premiere viewing chairs, there will only be a total of 44 tickets sold per night. Limited attendance and pod-placed seating will keep the music intimate and the attendance manageable. Masks are required at all times when out of your space, and food and beverage trucks will be parked out front.
Masked up and sanitized, the series will open with such popular Tennessee-based artists as American Idol winner Kris Allen, 2020 Grammy nominees Southern Avenue, and popular Americana duo Striking Matches. The late September weekend that would have been both Pilgrimage and Bonnaroo festivals will feature Jeff Coffin and the Nu Gurus [sax player from the Dave Matthews Band], and singer songwriters Liz Longley, Emma Hern, and Gabe Dixon. Halloween weekend will bring Country all-star band Side Piece (the all-female players from Maren, Sugarland, Alabama, Beyonce, Shakira, Shania, Cher, & Gaga’s bands), and there will be an instrumental night, headlined by Lockeland Strings, in tribute to the Nashville symphony, along with violin superstar Ross Holmes (from Cadillac Sky and Mumford & Sons), and nine year old piano prodigy Orlis Mulliken. A few exciting recent additions are yet to be announced.
