The Blair Master Series presents a recital by piano faculty member Sun-A Park with pianist Ammon Perry Bratt on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The husband-and-wife duo bring the rare brilliance of piano four-hands performance to life in an all-American program featuring works by Judith Lang Zaimont, Amy Beach, Samuel Barber, and George Gershwin. Performed with energy, elegance, and flair, the music showcases the extraordinary range and color possible when two pianists share a single keyboard.

About Sun-A Park:
Sun-A Park has performed in numerous major venues including the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Juilliard Theater, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. She has also appeared as soloist with orchestras across the United States, Europe, and Asia, and is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the Busoni International Piano Competition, Sendai International Piano Competition, Gina Bachauer Piano Competition, and the Kosciuszko Chopin Competition. She released a recording of Muzio Clementi’s early keyboard sonatas on Naxos.
Park is assistant professor of piano at the Blair School of Music. She studied at The Juilliard School, the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover, and the Yale School of Music.
About Ammon Perry Bratt:
Bratt has performed internationally in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lviv Philharmonic Hall, Palais Montcalm, and Auckland Town Hall. He is a top prize winner at International PianoTeams Competition, the Jacobs School of Music Concerto Competition, and has appeared as a concerto soloist with orchestras throughout the United States.
He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he also served as an associate instructor.
As a duo, Park and Bratt draw on their diverse artistic backgrounds to create performances marked by precision, color, and expressive nuance. They have performed together in recitals and festivals across the United States, Italy, and Germany, and continue to expand their collaborative presence with upcoming performances in Tennessee, Utah, New York, and South Korea. Their repertoire spans the standard works for two pianos and four hands as well as lesser-known and contemporary compositions, reflecting both pianists’ wide-ranging musical interests.
Currently based in Nashville, they enjoy life with their nine-month-old son, Leo Haneul; and their miniature poodle, Ramsey.
