The Blakemore Trio will be joined by Blair’s new viola faculty, David Samuel, for Johannes Brahms’ masterpiece, the piano quartet in G minor. The first half of the program features two works dating back one hundred years ago- Dmitri Shostakovich’s first piano trio written in his teenage years and the duo for violin and cello by Czech composer Irwin Schulhoff.
