August Community Day at The Land Trust for Tennessee's Glen Leven Farm!
Just 10 minutes south of Nashville, The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm offers a unique opportunity to get outdoors without going far. One Saturday a month, we host Community Days, a free event where you can explore all 64 acres of this historic Nashville landscape.
This month, discover the trees of Glen Leven Farm! Our arboretum features a remarkable collection of mature and unique trees, thanks to the farm’s long and storied history. It’s also home to the largest known biomass of Yellowwood in Tennessee. Enjoy a self-guided tour at your own pace, with our Glen Leven Farm Steward, Bryan, on hand to answer questions and share insights along the way.
During your visit, you can also explore the scenic property, hike our 1.4-mile Nature Trail, and take in the beauty of open fields, forests, and Brown's Creek. Also, be sure to stop by and say hello to our friendly miniature donkey, Dave! Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape, a family outing, or a chance to connect with nature, Community Day offers an experience for everyone.
