For eligibility requirements and to enter the tournament, musicians and bands can visit https://tnallianceforkids.org/615sings.
615 Sings will celebrate and recognize the great musical talent across Tennessee while helping our community grow stronger for vulnerable children through the efforts of Tennessee Alliance for Kids (TAK). The virtual singing competition and fundraiser is for bands and musicians in the Greater Middle Tennessee area. The Grand Prize winner will receive $2,500, a recording session with Billboard number one, Emmy, Grammy, Dove and Tele award-winning writer, producer, and musician, Steve Ivey of Ivey Music International, a two-hour live performance training session with Amy Wolter of Tom Jackson Productions, an Ernie Ball string package and more TBA. Money raised during tournament voting will benefit TAK’s mission of meeting the emergent needs of children in foster care, those at risk of coming into foster care and youth aging out.
615 Sings will be organized in a single elimination bracket tournament organized by a selection committee. Musicians/bands must submit registration for the tournament by June 7, 2021. The bracket and first round match-up dates will be announced soon after. The winner of each match-up is based on the number of votes in TAK’s fundraiser. Each $1 contributed counts as one vote!
