When GRAMMY-winning Aussie brother duo for KING + COUNTRY step on stage, it isn’t just a concert—it’s a full-body experience. Joel and Luke Smallbone take their audience on a faith-based, percussion-driven, theatrical night of music that makes fans cry, sing, and get up and dance.
After two highly successful theatrical releases, a new album, and an international tour in the last two years, for KING + COUNTRY spent much of 2025 off the road. But their renowned Christmas tour remains the brightest jewel in the duo’s crown—and they couldn’t sit a season out.
Their A Drummer Boy Christmas: The Live Experience tour launches December 2 in Orlando, Florida, and concludes with an unprecedented five-night artist residency at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. The duo will take the famous stage December 15–19, and tickets are on sale now.
“The truth is, it’s a true ‘gift’ to be celebrating the most wonderful time of the year in our American hometown of Nashville for the sixth consecutive year!” Joel Smallbone says. “And I must say, it’s the highlight of our holiday season—and we hope it is for you as well.”
Smallbone adds that the “icing on the Christmas cake” is that for KING + COUNTRY will nab the title for the venue’s longest-running artist residency—as the Grand Ole Opry celebrates its 100th year.
Over the course of the concert, the men will festively reinvent a host of Christmas songs—weaving their charismatic, high-energy performance style through originals and holiday classics from their Christmas albums. “To be part of your Christmas traditions, to gather together to celebrate the miracle baby Jesus turning BC into AD, flipping the world on its head, is quite the distinct privilege,” Joel Smallbone says.
The brothers are known for far more than their Christmas songs—they’ve built one of the most inspiring success stories in modern music. The men immigrated to America from Australia as young children with their family. Their father’s job immediately collapsed, and the Smallbones survived on faith, determination, and odd jobs until they got on their feet. Joel and Luke’s sister, Rebecca St. James, broke out first—a GRAMMY-winning singer with nine No. 1 songs.
Since their 2012 debut, for KING + COUNTRY have charted 13 No. 1 singles and earned more than 3 billion career streams. The duo has won four GRAMMY® Awards and had hit songs including “God Only Knows,” “joy.,” “Fix My Eyes,” and “Burn the Ships.” T hey’re also known for cross-genre collaborations, including impressive crossover success with Dolly Parton, Hillary Scott, Jordin Sparks, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Timbaland.
The brothers’ creative reach extends into film, too. Joel Smallbone starred in Priceless, a feature film that spotlighted human trafficking and sparked the Priceless Movement. In 2024, they released Unsung Hero, a profoundly personal, feature-length biopic chronicling their family’s journey. Last holiday season, the duo shared their feature-length for KING + COUNTRY'S: A Drummer Boy Christmas LIVE in theaters.
Now comes the next chapter: for KING + COUNTRY’s new single, “World On Fire” (feat. Taylor Hill). Released this fall, it’s a bold announcement of a new season of passion and purpose.
“This past year has been our grand reset—a time to lean into family, to listen, and to be renewed,” Joel Smallbone says. “Out of that refining has come something fresh. ‘World On Fire’ is our anthem of joy and hope set to a global rhythm.”
