On Sunday, July 20, Trisha Yearwood took over Lower Broadway between 4th and 5th Avenue for a free, fan-focused celebration marking the release of her new album, The Mirror. More than 500 fans came out for a special in-person signing—many waiting in line for hours to meet Yearwood and have their CDs and exclusive vinyl editions signed.
This Nashville appearance was just one stop on a packed release weekend for the country icon, who is celebrating The Mirror with a mix of national TV, in-store signings, and major performances:
- Friday, July 18: Yearwood kicked off release day with a live performance on the TODAY Show’s Citi Concert Series at Rockefeller Plaza, delivering three new songs from The Mirror along with her iconic hit “She’s in Love with the Boy.”
- Saturday, July 19: Yearwood returned to the Grand Ole Opry, where she was joined by Charles Kelley for the live debut of “The Record Plays On.”
Next, on Tuesday, July 22, she headlines the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s Trisha Yearwood and Friends Celebrate Linda Ronstadt and Los Angeles Country-Rock, a special evening featuring performances by Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Patti Scialfa, and James Taylor.
Additional album signings continue this week in Chattanooga and Yearwood’s hometown of Monticello, GA.
