It's almost time for Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin and musician Elle King is gearing up to perform on September 25 at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm.
Ahead of the music festival and her performance, we asked the singer/songwriter to share a few of her favorite things to do at the festival. From can't-miss vendors to delish food options, see Elle King's picks, plus a Franklin can't-miss attraction.
Vendor: Nashville Blanket Project
There will be a lot of vendors on site at the festival and quite a few I want to check out myself. One of them is the Nashville Blanket Project, where they make authentic Mexican blankets and other throws, clothing, and accessories. Best of all, they donate a blanket for every blanket sold.
Creative vendors on site inlaced those like Bamabelle. They make music inspired jewelry with guitar picks and strings, and Music City Record Art, which makes art out of old vinyl.
Vendor: The Mac Shack Food Truck
You’re going to need some food to keep up your energy in between all the great music and you can carb-load at The Mac Shack food truck where they create some incredible loaded gourmet mac and cheese dishes.
Vendor: Padrino’s Pops & Retro Sno
It can still be hot in September, so cool down at the festival with homemade paletas from Padrino’s Pops. They have flavors like coconut, kiwi, and taramind. Or, feel like a kid again with some shaved ice from Retro Sno.
I love some haunted shit and there are several places in Franklin where ghosts have reportedly been seen and heard. I would check out the Haunted Franklin Tour!
