Shipley Donuts, the nation’s largest brand of fresh, handmade-daily donuts and kolaches, is celebrating the grand opening of its new flagship shop in Nashville Yards.
Located at 971 Church St. on the north side of the new urban hub development, the shop will open Sept. 15 with daily deals and charity donations. Special offers include:
- Monday, Sept. 15: First 100 guests will receive a coupon for a dozen free glazed donuts to redeem on their next visit
- Tuesday, Sept. 16: Buy one kolache, get a kolache free on next visit
- Wednesday, Sept. 17: Loyalty members who scan or check in at the location will be entered for a chance to win pinnacle concert tickets with any purchase
- Thursday, Sept. 18: Enjoy a free hot drip coffee with any purchase
- Friday, Sept. 19: Free coffee and glazed donut for public servants, including police officers, firefighters, teachers, medical personnel, etc.
- Saturday, Sept. 20: 20% of sales will be donated to Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee
- Sunday, Sept. 21: Free glazed donut for all kids with any purchase
Shipley offers more than 40 varieties of fresh, handmade daily donuts, including its signature glazed, cut in the iconic Shipley hexagon shape, plus filled, iced and cake donuts, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, coffee and more. It’s also known for its kolaches, a savory Texas-style pastry with fillings like cheese, sausage and eggs baked inside.
“The new Nashville shop allows Shipley to further strengthen our presence in Music City while introducing our iconic, fresh-made donuts and kolaches to a new audience of workers, residents and visitors in the growing Nashville Yards district,” said Flynn Dekker, Shipley Donuts CEO. “As a flagship store in the heart of the city, this new shop will be a place people can stop by to enjoy the world’s greatest donuts, grab a coffee before work or a show, or meet up with friends for a sweet or savory treat.”
Owned by Virentes Hospitality, the shop is open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
