The 12 South neighborhood will soon have a new taco spot — this one specializing in breakfast and lunch fare.
Inspired by Texas culture, Ladybird Taco will feature an array of delicious breakfast and lunch tacos, each made with homemade tortillas, house-made salsas, and queso. Beverages will include coffee and espresso service in the morning as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages in the afternoon.
The new restuarant concept comes from three longtime friends, Andrew Wiseheart, Ben Edgerton, and Gabe Scott. Wiseheart and Edgerton, both Texas natives, are co-owners of Contigo in Austin, TX, while Scott is a local Nashvillian with roots in the music industry. Ladybird Taco will be his first venture into the restaurant industry.

Inspired by trips to taco shops in Texas, Gabe and the team wish to bolster the growing but relatively small number of breakfast taco options in Nashville. The grab-and-go food is the perfect fuel to kick-start the day, and the easy-going atmosphere and culture of the restaurant will provide a great casual hangout for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
Living in Nashville for the past 20 years, Gabe could not be more excited to have Ladybird Taco become part of the 12 South neighborhood, just blocks from his home. The team is thrilled to make their mark on the taco culture in Nashville and look forward to adding their special take on tacos to its booming food scene.
