Seelbach
For those who travel to the Commonwealth or the Bourbon Trail, the name Seelbach may sound familiar. Named for the Seelbach Hotel in Louisville, this cocktail combines (it's from Kentucky folks, can you guess?) Bourbon and Champagne. The clove, cinnamon, cherry, and anise of the accompanying bitters are what take this cocktail to a whole new level.
Recipe
1 oz. bourbon
1/2 oz. Cointreau
7 dashes Angostura bitters
7 dashes Peychaud's bitters
Champagne
Glass: Flute
Garnish: Lemon Twist
Stir all ingredients but Champagne briefly over ice, strain into a chilled flute, top with Champagne and garnish.
