Nashville might be known as Music City, but our ever-growing restaurant community has put Nashville’s food scene on the map as a cut above the rest.
With so many incredible dining experiences to choose from, it can be challenging to sample all the options Music City has to offer. But foodies rejoice, because for the entire month of February a new initiative, Dine Nashville: The Music City Way, provides three different ways to celebrate our city’s chefs and diverse food scene all while benefitting The Giving Kitchen.
The month-long celebration features collaborative chef experiences, a restaurant week, and discount offerings from local food retail outlets across the city. Kicking off the February festivities is perhaps the most unique component of Dine Nashville—the one-of-a-kind, chef collaborations taking place throughout the month. Showcasing never before seen culinary creativity, these imaginative collaborations unite our city’s top chefs for an edible experience that could only come to life in Nashville.
On Feb. 14, spend Valentine’s Day celebrating your love of some of the best food in town at Bobby Hotel where the Executive Chef Ryan Poli will team up with Chef Rooney of Black Dynasty Secret Ramen House for a can’t-miss culinary collab. Local favorite Black Dynasty set up shop in their new home at Sylvan Supply in Bearded Iris Brewery late last year after achieving incomprehensible popularity, and after a three year hiatus Chef Poli (formerly of the beloved Catbird Seat) is back in Nashville revamping Bobby Hotel’s dining outlets— making this collaboration one worthy of all V-Day love.
Keep the culinary fun going in East Nashville on Feb. 18 at Joyland, where Chef Sean Brock (of Joyland, The Continental, and Audrey) joins Chef Tyler Brown (of Southall) for an evening filled with good times and even greater food. The esteemed chefs previously worked together at Hermitage Hotel’s Capitol Grille and will once again reunite in the kitchen to serve up some unforgettable fare.

And on Feb. 22, spice up your dinner plans at Chaatable and feast on a fusion of flavors courtesy of Chef Maneet Chauhan and Chef Joshua Walker. Known for her expertise as a judge on Food Network’s Chopped, Chef Chauhan is also a local legend in her own right heading Morph Hospitality Group, which encompasses Chaatable, Tansuo, Chauhan Ale & Masala House, and Mockingbird. Chef Walker’s Xiao Bao Biscuit has taken off as a wildly popular pop-up at The Dive Motel, with its highly anticipated stand-alone outpost opening on the horizon this spring. Together, the chefs are creating delectable delights for a dining experience you won’t want to miss. Other yet-to-be announced chef collaborations are coming soon, so keep an eye out for your favorite pairings unique to Music City’s innovative food scene.
Close out the month on a high note with Dine Nashville’s restaurant week running Feb. 21 – 27. The food-filled week offers special prix fixe menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner, as well as deals and discounts from non-traditional restaurants such as fast-casual eateries, coffee shops, bakeries, and breweries to showcase Nashville’s all- encompassing food and beverage scene.
Beyond the enticing entrées, creative collaborations, and delicious deals, the nonprofit beneficiary of Dine Nashville is as worthy of celebration as the food itself. The Giving Kitchen provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources, with a goal of creating a food service community where crisis is met with compassion and care. Since its inception,
Giving Kitchen has served over 8,000 food service workers with hopes of continuing to serve even more individuals through funds and awareness raised through Dine Nashville’s month-long festivities.
“Nashville’s food scene has grown to be a significant piece of the city’s creative culture, and this celebration will give locals and visitors a unique opportunity to experience our culinary offerings like never before,” says Deana Ivey, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “After all the industry has been through over the past 20 months, we can’t imagine there being a more important moment in time to shine a spotlight on their great work while also supporting The Giving Kitchen. Honoring creativity while giving back really is the Music City Way.”
