Nashville Lifestyles' annual Women in Business eventfeatured nine of the city's most influential female leaders from a variety of industries. Over 300 women gathered at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for a time of networking, followed by a seated lunch from Flavor Catering and wine provided by Athens Distributing and Sommelier Mattie Jackson of Salt & Vine.
The program began with a style show from Dillard's at The Mall at Green Hills, featuring designs by Badgley Mischka. Then, keynote speaker Trisha Yearwoodthe platinum-selling, multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM Award winning vocalistanswered a mix questions about her career, speaking about her businesses, including The Trisha Yearwood Home Collection, her cookbooks, and her new line with Williams-Sonoma, including a cocktail mix, Summer in a Cup.
Additionally, the women featured in the August issue, came to the stage to discuss their own career paths, the influence of Nashville, and some of their trajectory moments. This year's honorees included:
