I am of the persuasion that there is room at the table for everyone, so I wanted to compile a list of local artists that you possibly haven’t discovered yet. (Let me know if I missed someone!) Vicky Reddish is an abstract artist in Nashville who thrives on creating fun and calming work with colors and textures. Drawing inspiration from travel, nature, and cherished memories, Vicky uses acrylic paint and a variety of catalysts and mediums to create expressive, textured works of art. Gina Julian is a hard-edge abstraction painter who seeks to explore energy and motion through the use of flat color. Alice Caudill is a self-taught artist from Murfreesboro. Alice began painting at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic as a creative outlet while being at home with her two rowdy little boys.
