Patio season is finally here! And what better way to enjoy the easy, breezy weather of Nashville in the spring than from the comfort of your own outdoor living space?
We caught up with the team at Kolo Collection, Nashville’s newest high-design, premium outdoor furniture and accessory store. The Atlanta-born company has opened a new location at the Nashville Design Collective just in time for back porch sitting.
Showroom Manager Brian “Tango” Terry says color played a key role in this season’s top patio pieces.
"Beautiful and vibrant blues and pinks, mixed along with whites and greys, bring the spring to life in 2020,” he says.
Terry also points to a second trend for the season—one that introduces rich new details that take inspiration from the past.
“There is a nod to a nautical theme with the Brown Jordan Walter Lamb Collection. First introduced in the late 1940’s using bronze and brass piping and cotton rope salvaged from sunken ships in Pearl Harbor, Brown Jordan has reintroduced the iconic Walter Lamb Collection in aluminum frame with weather-resistant rope to celebrate its 75th anniversary,” he says. “The mixed materials trend continues in Dedon's Sealine, Mamagreens Bondi, and Jensen Leisure's Forte Collections.”
