Coffee Lunch
These two quick-meal cafés have you covered from breakfast through an afternoon snack.
This casual counter-service café arrived in Cummings Station in late October, giving passersby a spot to load up on expertly crafted sandwiches, meat by the pound, local eggs, and soups and salads to go. Share a large table on the first floor or sneak upstairs for additional seating. For lunch, grab an Italian, which is brimming with prosciutto, salami, provolone, ham, pepperoncini, and olive spread, or splurge with a stellar version of the Reuben packed between slices of toasted marble rye. A selection of jams, jellies, and Silly Cow Farms hot chocolate mix are available for purchase up front along with soaps and dishware.

Dark woods and counter seating line the other new café, which sits cattycorner from M Market. Owner Khalil Davis is usually working the espresso machines (he's the one with the coffee cup tattoo) and will happily whip up a dense and foamy latte. Their breakfast sandwiches, set between fresh biscuits, are flavor bombs. But don't pass on the sweetswe loved the layered chocolate mousse parfait but a cookie dough chocolate truffle ought to satiate that sweet tooth.
