“I’ve written a sitcom and am working on three other scripts. I have a secret make-believe life where I’m a fabulous writer,” says Susan, when asked what people may not know about her. She’s renowned for her tireless commitment to The Shalom Foundation, a local humanitarian relief organization helping solve the pressing problem of homeless children in Nashville, as well as providing vital assistance to needy kids in Guatemala City. “When you give yourself away for a greater cause, it will change your life,” she says. When she has time to herself, she admits that she hides and reads. Her secret for looking great? I learned a long time ago that if you enter a room smiling, nothing else matters.”
