The 2008 Comcast “Jeff Fisher & Friends” Charity Softball Game recently hosted a pre-game reception and silent auction at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery. Blue Diamond Catering catered the event and proved delightful items such a Shrimp and Pasta stir fry, honey Jack Daniels pork tenderloin rolls with homemade honey mustard; charcoal grilled chicken mini croissants with raspberry chipotle sauce and Godiva injected chocolate strawberries. Frederick Wildman and Sons provided the wine and DET Distributing Co. provided the beer. Auction items included artwork by local artists, Ron Baldwin and Rob Hendon as well as Titans memorabilia, plasma TV’s donated by Best Buy and tire sets donated by Bridgestone. The charity softball game and auctions benefitted Mercy Ministries, 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Soles4Souls, Catch-A-Dream and several other local charities. The event has risen over $400,000 to date.
